The over 10,000 attendees, including industry experts and opinion leaders, will discuss the latest trends and explore transformation opportunities and challenges in the cloud era. Huawei will also unveil its new cloud computing products and solutions during HCC.

Amid the wave of worldwide digital transformation, IT systems are shifting from a support tool to a production system. As cloud computing technology is maturing, enterprises are infusing cloud capabilities into their IT systems. Like Internet companies, traditional industries are rushing to embrace cloud computing and deliver cloud services via industry clouds. Cloud computing offers a core competitive edge for companies to meet diverse customer needs. At this critical stage of cloud-driven digital transformation, Huawei is leveraging its position as a leading IT player to accelerate cloud technologies and enable transformation in different industries.

Kevin Zhang, President of Huawei’s Corporate Marketing Dept, said, “After years of experience in the IT market, Huawei has made many innovations and achievements in IT architecture, hardware, software, and services. Together with our partners, we hope to explore new benchmarks for cloud transformation. This reflects the main idea of this year’s HCC: Transforming with Cloud, Setting New Benchmark.”

Cloud transformation is beyond the capacity of any single vendor. Developing an end-to-end cloud computing solution requires the joint effort of all players, including providers of cloud platforms, software, hardware, integration services, consulting services, and industry applications. With this in mind, Huawei Rotating CEO Eric Xu will launch Huawei’s cloud ecosystem strategy at HCC. Future competition will be between industry chains, and open collaboration is vital to industry development. Guided by its Being Integrated strategy, Huawei aims to build an open and collaborative cloud ecosystem that benefits Huawei and its partners. To this end, Huawei is planning a variety of initiatives, including marketing promotion, technological cooperation, and talent development.

At HCC, Huawei will share its success stories for enabling the cloud transformation of traditional industries, including governments and the finance and media industries. Powered by the tailor-made cloud solutions Huawei has provided with its partners, these industries have made significant efficiency gains and achieved rapid business innovations.

Huawei entered the cloud computing market in 2010. Since then, it has invested heavily in technological R&D and product innovation to promote industry development and transformation.

At HCC, Huawei will launch three software platforms: FusionSphere6.0, FusionInsight, and FusionStage. FusionSphere6.0 is an ideal tool for resource optimization and integration across data centers and resource pools. FusionInsight is able to converge data by breaking down data silos. FusionStage is a lightweight, easy-to-use PaaS cloud platform that is well suited for industry-specific application developers.

At the congress Huawei will also announce its data center-oriented data service platform, OceanStor DJ. Through the unified management of storage resources, OceanStor DJ automatically provides data services on a business-driven basis to boost data centers’ operating efficiency.

Covering an exhibition area of 7,200 m2, HCC 2015 is the must-see exhibition of the year. Huawei’s partners and customers, including carriers, media outlets, and finance companies, will showcase their cloud solutions and application in vertical industries. Huawei will also create a platform for attendees to intuitively experience cloud computing applications. In addition to keynote speeches, the congress will also feature 31 subject sessions and over 20 industry summits. More than 200 guest speakers from vertical industries, such as governments, finance, education, and the media, will discuss topics on cloud computing, the Internet of Things, and data centers. This event will also bring together over 10,000 attendees from more than 80 countries and regions. HCC 2015 will no doubt have a lot in store for visitors.
