Infinix S5: Here’s All You Need To Know

The Hong Kong based smartphone maker, Infinix, under Transsion Holding has released a new smartphone budget smartphone called the Infinix S5.

The Infinix S5 is a successor to the S4 and a really substantial upgrade. The Infinix S5 is built around a 6.6″ 20:9 HD+ display that has a hole in the top-left corner for the 32MP selfie camera. Around the back, it has a fingerprint scanner right next to the vertical quad camera setup.

The four cameras at the back are made up of a 16MP main, 5MP ultrawide, 2MP depth, and a low-light sensor. The 5MP unit also lets you take macro shots of objects from as close as 2.5cm. Not just that, you can also record macro videos using the 5MP camera.

This smartphone is powered by a Helio P22 SoC with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There is also a micro SD slot you can upgrade your storage up to 256Gb. The Infinix S5 runs Android Pie with the XOS skin on top.

This smartphone comes in two colours; Violet and Quetzal cyan. It has a 4000mAH battery and should cost you about NGN45,000 TO NGN50,000. This smartphone has not yet been released in Nigeria but we are hoping to see it hit Africa’s largest market soon.
