We won’t be seeing the Samsung Galaxy S11 until February 2020 but there have been tons of leaks about this device and we know just what to expect from Samsung’s next flagship.
We don’t know a lot about the design of the Samsung Galaxy S11 but Ice Universe a remarkable Samsung insider hints on a taller display with a 20:9 aspect ratio.
According to The Elec, Samsung has begun the mass production of displays with the cameras under the screen. This is an Under Display Camera technology (UDC) and there’s no telling whether the S11 will come with that stunning design or copy the whole punch from the Galaxy Note 10.
But be sure to expect an all screen smartphone with the camera underneath the display.
Enough talk about the display, one more reason to be excited about the S11 is the amazing camera upgrade. Since the Samsung Galaxy S7 the smartphone company has used and optimised the 12MP camera sensor but next year’s devices would have a better sensor. Samsung newly released 48MP, 64MP and a 108MP camera sensors and it’s very likely they will use one of them for the Galaxy S11 line up.
There are also rumours hinting that Samsung might go ahead and add a 5X optical zoom. One thing it might mean is that the lens is more flush with the back of the handset than most zoom lenses, as another source claims Samsung is working on just such a lens which is also yet more evidence that a zoom lens is in the works. We can’t tell the battery capacity of the S11 line ups but we know there will be no headphone jack and bixby button. We do know it’s going to be priced similarly to the S10 line up.
