LG DUALCOOL Combines Technology With Aesthetics

Each time James Lee, President of LG Electronics for Middle East and Africa Region, comes to Nigeria, something big happens. He came to Lagos this October 2019, and, something big happened: the official launch of the futuristic LG DUALCOOL Premium Air Conditioner.

How would you describe an air conditioner which not only purifies the air around you but completely transforms the ambience of the home, office or event place?

“This is not only an Air Conditioner but, it’s a smart machine.”

Those were the words of Mohammed Fouani, Managing Director, Fouani Nigeria Limited while describing the LG DUALCOOL Premium Air Conditioner, launched in Lagos, October 25, 2019.

Calling the all-new LG DUALCOOL Air Conditioner a smart machine is putting it mildly. The two-and-a-half horse power beauty is a picturesque object of decoration and well thought-out technological masterpiece.

Launched in Korea 14 months ago, Nigeria is celebrated as the second place in the world to behold this technological feat.

James Lee makes a statement of note concerning the new product. “The new product is equipped with Dual Premium Design and unique features such as LG ThinQ, Air Purification, Ice and Custom Cooling, Energy saving and many more. LG DUALCOOL Premium Air Conditioner comes in Rose Gold and White colours. They are truly an epitome of beauty, as it adds décor and novelty to your home.”

Among the unique and mind blowing features of the LG DUALCOOL Premium Air Conditioner include: a deliberately chandelier-look aesthetic which enables the colour effortlessly fit into your environment, a dual cooling system that has cut back on existing ice cool power technology from 10.8 degrees centigrade to as low as 6.8 degree centigrade.

Other outstanding features are, a wind control of as much as 120 degrees sideways and as much as 50 degrees upwards and downwards. Fitted with a dual inverter, this intelligent technology supplies rapid, constant and custom cooling.

Perhaps what freaked out the audience at the launch is the Smart ThinQ technology that comes with the air conditioner. This App which can be downloaded over any android or iphone devices, can work via your TV set and other home appliances like the television set, the refrigerator, among others. The technology allows the user remotely control the air conditioner, change the mode or set the temperature from anywhere.

The LG DUALCOOL Premium equipped with a PM 1.0 sensor Air Purifier is about the best thing to happen to Asthma patients.

To crown its numerous advantages, the LG DUALCOOL Premium has the capacity of saving as much as 55% energy over competition, through its power saving and power dehumidification technology.

Painting a lucid picture of the amazing technology of the new LG DUALCOOL, Olugbenga Ogunbayo, Product Trainer, LG West Africa; his audience were mesmerised when he said, “If the air around you is not pure, the air conditioner through it ThinQ technology changes its display to red and it turns green as it purifies the air.”

Tracing the evolution of the new LG DUALCOOL Premium Air Conditioner, James Lee said, “Dual Premium Design is an art of technology inspired by a form of round pillar that sends optimal wind to anywhere. It also has two short-haul and long distance runners inside the air conditioner to operate in the most optimal way in each section to save energy through the help of AI Dual Inverter.”

Fouani captured the duality of the inter-dependability between LG and the Nigerian market, “the choice of the Nigerian market as the place for the launch after Korea only shows the trust the LG products enjoy in Nigeria and the respect that LG itself has for the Nigerian consumer. And this only happens where you have consumer confidence in a particular product.”

The public presentation of the LG DUALCOOL Premium Air Conditioner and its unique features, it is a further confirmation of the near convergence of technology and is setting the tone for the future of home appliances.

Although the event was tagged a media event (about 100 hundred media outfits – prints, electronics, and social media were represented), there were also select key distributors and partners of LG products in the country.

The chief executive of Fouani Nigeria Limited, Mohammed Fouani assured the audience that the new Air Conditioner can be purchased from its outlets across the country in locations like Lagos, Port Harcourt, Abuja, Kano, Jos, Asaba, Ibadan and Benin.
