Mokoena Appointed Google Country Director for South African Operations

Former CEO of Ogilvy South Africa, Alistair Mokoena, has been announced as Google South Africa Country Director and set to resume in April 2020.

Renowned for his works in the advertising sector and affiliations with big brands like SAB, Unilever, Tiger and Mondelez, the Google team is really excited to welcome him on board as disclosed by the Google Africa’s director, Nitin Gajria.

Mokoena whose duties include overseeing commercial businesses for Google South Africa, said he felt honored for the opportunity and looks forward to helping and ensuring South African businesses navigate a rapidly changing landscape for the online and offline ecosystems coverage.
