Visitors to the IFA 2018 Consumer Electronics show will see, feel, touch and experience 4G Radio, a revolutionary product that’s about to change radio broadcasting in the world.

Italian entrepreneur, Paolo Novelli, announced to over 360 tech journalists during the 2018 IFA Global Press Conference, in Rome, Italy that he invented and patented the 4G radio, which is also produced by his company, Axis International.

However, it is the historic brand in the sales of electronics and information technology products, Radionovelli, that is responsible for the sales and commercialisation of the product. Radionovelli, which is a family business dating back since 1956, will be taking the 4G Radio to IFA 2018 in Berlin, Germany, running from August 31 – September 5.

This product of Italian ingenuity is revolutionising the world of radio broadcasting and smart TV, letting the listener and viewer free to interact with musical programs, entertainment events as well as with advertising as never before.

Getting to know some of the features of the 4G radio underscores why it fittingly qualifies to be called a phenomenon in digital radio broadcasting.

With the ‘always on connection’  feature through patented web radio module and the use of 4G data network, this 4G radio guarantees listening and viewing even in the absence of an FM/DAB signal.

In fact, it uses the mobile internet connection for listening and watching audio and video content on the web, exploiting the full potential of the Android operating system.

Thus, it is announced as “the first innovative radio that allows end users to enjoy on demand audio and video contents everywhere at any time.”

Additionally, there is a feature that requires getting a data SIM of any mobile operating to open one’s own entertainment world.

The ‘integrated touch display and webcam’ feature allows the use of applications such as Apple Music, YouTube, Skype, etc, to browse the web and to reproduce multimedia contents present on optical and digital media.

Mr. Novelli says the 4G radio is a result of several years of research and development, and “thanks to patented algorithms unique in the world, in a very simple device, with an elegant ‘look and feel’ vintage, innovation features are available that allow the user to enjoy audio and view contents on demand, for free and under payment.”

Explaining further, he said:

“At the same time, operators of radio stations, telephone companies, publishers, marketers and private companies can open up new possibilities for promoting their products with new digital advertising tools,” using the 4G radio.

He could hardly hold back his joy over the actualisation of his dream after much effort:

“After many years my dream has come true and I am very proud to present the 4G RDN radio to the international press today.

“It is a unique product in the world, designed to revolutionise the use of radio as it was until today,” Mr. Novelli announced at the 2018 IFA Global Press Conference in Rome on April 20.

“Its excellent performance and flexibility as well as being highly appreciated by fans of hi-fi and technology, will also allow those who do not use the internet every day to experiment with the first interactive radio and all the potential of digital entertainment,” he added.
